Commissioned and studio sculptures exploring the landscape and the wildlife that inhabit it

About

My work is diverse but explores the joyful interaction of human endeavour with the environment - horses carved into hillsides; lichens on gravestones. It is thoughtful and, I hope, thought-provoking work, be it commissions or studio pieces.

From a background in Art History, I have previously worked in textiles and paint but for the last sixteen years I have been sculpting with clay. Benefitting from several tutors generous with their expertise, I enjoy honing my understanding and skills. Clay is a medium that is endlessly forgiving to work with but can be cast to last forever.

Please enjoy my existing work on this website, visit me at an exhibition, or contact me for future commissioning or exhibiting.
